are always evaluating new technologies and capabilities for even
earlier diagnosis and treatment of cancerous tissue. We presently
offer Stereo Needle Biopsy, Sentinel Node Biopsy, Ultrasound-Guided
Biopsy procedures and breast MRI procedures. These procedures
reduce pain and chance of infection, scarring and the occurrence
of
lymphedema
which
at
times are associated with the surgical removal of cancers.
With an even greater emphasis on prevention, we are expanding
preventative therapies to including exercise, diet and appropriate
complementary therapies. The Breast Health Center in the new Mid Coast Hospital is
a fully integrated part of The Woman's Center, on the second
floor of the Medical Office Building, Suite 2900. The Medical
Office Building is next to the new Mid Coast Hospital. click

offers mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometry. Other
women's health services including two OB/GYN practices are
